Courtney along with her family separated when Courtney was seven years old. She was with them both for a variety of times. Jennifer is her sister's younger, is also an advertising executive. She studied at Menlo-Atherton High School (Atherton in California) and Tamalpais High School (Mill Valley Mill Valley, California) and graduated in 1985.
