Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Yael had the good fortune to work with Australia's leading storytellers. She has worked behind-the-scenes on film, television and theatre. Yael is well-known as an actress throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. Based in a Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery is a place to promote new ideas in creative writing, as well as innovative creative initiatives, and encourages the formation of new writers.
