Rebecca Romijn is an American model and actress famous for portraying the character of Mystique in the first three-part episode of the American superhero film series 'X-Men'. Romijn also appeared in an additional Marvel superhero film 'The Punisher where she played Joan. Her career started with a modeling career as a fashionista. She's worked with top brands, like Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. Her modeling career lasted more than a decade. She then decided to pursue her acting. Romijn was more successful in the world of television than she was had been at Hollywood. She was the character "Alexis Mead", in the comedy/drama series "Ugly Betty" as well as later played the part of "Jessie Nichols" in the series the NTSF SD SUV. Her other roles include 'King & Maxwell' and The Librarians'. She also hosted the reality TV show Skin Wars about body painting and participated in numerous other projects, such as video games.
